Bullet alignment off only in FF 1.5

But it worked in previous FF, and still works in IE

I have a site design with bullet point images set inside a table to valign="middle"

That was looking fine in FF 1.0 and IE, whenever I bothered to open that, but yesterday I upgraded to FF 1.5 and now the bullets are on the bottom.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated?

i find bullets problematic across ff opera and ie.

Personally i tend to use list-style:none;, and then use a background image for a custom bullet.

Well, this isn't a list situation, though.

This is simply a bullet .gif image in a table cell using valign="middle" but now it appears at the bottom edge of the cell instead. But only in FF 1.5.

It's a tiny percentage of users now, but as it grows over time it would be nice to have a solution that is browser and browser version independent (if such a thing exists)!

Apologies.

Why are you using a table to layout bullet points?
