Latest FF 36 keeps changing my settings from about"confg and stuffing Helo back on the tool bar when I want it to die. Meanwhile, my email link button has disappeared. Anyone know where it might have gone?

Side note: performance is greatly impoved and HTTp/2 support is not too shabby.

Hi there tangor,
on the right hand side of my Firefox browser there is a three horizontal bars button.

I clicked that and then clicked "Customize".

I then dragged the aggravating "Hello" thingy off the toolbar to the area below.

It has remained there even after updates.

You can reverse this procedure with "Email Link" button.

I realize I'm still on FF 35. Should I wait until v35.00001, or is it safe now? ;)

My concern is that I changed the Hello setting in about:config version last and when 36 installed it removed that physical change to about:config. And at the same time removed the email link button from my tool bar.

Second, there is no Email Link in my options or customize locations to put back on my tool bar, which requires the file menu to be displayed to get to the email link function.

I have, it seems, a much more reliable version of Firefox than you. ;)

Everything works perfectly to my requirements. :)

I'm running 36.0.4 and loving it, except for the two comments above. I won't be a happy camper if new installs (updates) rewrite my ff config, as I do have somethings I just don't want, like tabs on top...

Very stable, renders swift and http/2 support is a plus. The new certificate authority has been useful.

I just want my email link button back so I don't have to have the menu bar visible to click file/click email link and lose the real estate on screen by h having the menu bar and have to click twice when once shoujld be enough.
