...how do I disable it?

Hi guys,

I want to disable the combo box (drop-down box) that activates when you start typing a URL in.

I did this in the PR version but forgot how.

Man, that thing is annoying.

Not sure if this will work, but try

Tools -> Privacy -> Saved Form Information

and uncheck

"Save information I enter in web page forms and the Search Bar"

In Firefox, this can be changed via Tools > Options > Accessibility > Find As You Type
