Is it possible to have different FireFox versions on one PC?

For example FireBird 0.7 and the latest FireFox?

Is it possible to have different FireFox versions on one PC? I already have FireBird 0.7 and would like to have the latest FireFox but leave my FireBird.
Thanks.

Not tried it, but I don't see why not. Historically, multiple Mozilla-based browsers have never caused difficulties. I run Moz 0.9, Netscape 7 and Firefox 1.0 on XP with no problems.

If you have the zipped version of firebird (or downloaded it from Mozilla.org), install firefox then if necessary unzip firebird they will use different profiles.
Look for a previous thread if you want to install different versions of firefox.

I don't believe they will automatically use different profiles; you'll need to set them up yourself. This is very important; you're almost sure to ruin something if you use the same profile on several versions of FireFox. Best thing to do is add the -p (for pre-0.8 versions) and -Profilemanager (for 0.8 and up) flags to your FireFox shortcuts. This will open the Profile Manager when you click a FireFox shortcut, and will allow you to create new profiles and choose which profile to use. I normally name my profiles after the version of FireFox I intend to use them with.
