Hello guys I have a big problem, what is the best way to sell on behalf of another website that does not have an affiliate program. A small firm has a website that they sell about 100 products and use a specific shopping cart for this. Because they are brand specific they really don’t have much of a need for a great affiliate program. However I have realized that many of my site visitors would be interested in their goods. On first contact there junior staff seemed very excited at the prospect of us selling on there behalf.

So imagine I have a site #1 for widgets. Vendors site is Bretts widget brand. People find that only if they want Bretts widget brand, which is only a small amount of people (unfortunately for Brett).

However here is the dilemma how do I go about doing this heres what I want to do:
1.Have all products on my site allow purchasers to click to buy from my site.
2.Have the page redirect to checkout sale page of the main vendors.
3.Track to ensure that if a sale is made I am able to verify and reconcile.
4.Don’t require any software to be added to the server of the main vendor.
5.(I don’t mind sending installing any software on mys side)

I would like to make the process as seamless as possible for the main vendor with off course the exception of writing my commission cheque every month.

So whats the best way to go about this?

PS: I really want the 100 pages of products i.e. product description etc image of product so forth to continue to make my site dynamic each month I can certainly add 500 keyword rich content for a new type of widget.

Um... this is a show stopper given item #4. If they aren't willing to modify their cart or add anything to allow tracking then there is no way for you to track!

Food for thought - why not set yourself up in a drop-ship arrangement with them?

It all sounds perfect for drop shipping to me
