Hi All,

I purchased a domain after expiration of 3 years.Now am trying to improve the Google rankings (SEO).but the result was very less.Is that old domain is affecting my SEO results?

Please help me out.

There is always a chance that aged domain has negative SEO characteristics due to the previous ownership's SEO methods

How long are you talking about, weeks, months?

FWIW brand new domains take ages to rank these days, a minimum of 6 months under normal circumstances however several here are saying as much as 12-15 months I have certainly experienced similar.

Is this a brand new site on an expired domain name or is it an existing site with a new home?
