Have You Ever Read ICANN's Domain Transfer Policy?

Changes are coming. I thought it would be an easy read. Boy was I mistaken.

I've been reading headlines about domain transfers becoming a bit more complicated as of December 1, 2016 due to an ICANN policy change affecting registrar domain transfer restrictions and obligations. So, I thought I'd read the policy to make sense of the changes.

Well, the policy required me to scroll down through 11 or 12 screens of verbiage. Not quite what I was planning to devote my time to right now, i.e, reading 3 or 4000 words (or more).

Argh. Have fun. Bookmarked for later reading.

Reading ICANN policy is a good way to sleep. :)

These are much clearer explanations @WebWork. Best to check with whatever registrar you use. Most are updating ToS so they are the "designated agent".
