Email notice .

help with understanding what they are doing

Tonight i received a email stating they
are a registrar and asking if i authorized a dozen
or so domain names with different extensions mostly .cn

Is this some sort of scam that i just don't know about?

Scam..very very very very old scam..don't buy anything from them , don't pay anything to them..
