You will be expected to pay on-line. If you are a minor you may need to go out and buy a pre-pay debit card first.

Why don't you ask the people at the domain registrar you listed in your profile?

Or don't they know either?

Hi purnima,
To start with, search and select a reputable domain registrar. There are plenty of them in Internet so you may compare their domain registration fee, service and overall reputation. Then visit their website, enter your desired domain/website name in their search box to determine if that name is still available for registration. Choose the domain extension which may affect the price as well. Then follow their order process and wait for domain propagation. You will likely receive a confirmation email from the company as soon as your domain is registered and your account with them has been setup. Good luck!
