Hello,

I recently purchased a domain name mydomain.com.
I was checking the alexa records.

As soon as i enter MyDomain.com in alexa.com
It shows record
"Site informaiton for AnotherDomain.com"

Could my domain name been hijacked? Is there anything i can do with Alexa to change this?

Hijacked? Not unless you have lost control of the admin and registrant functions of controlling the WhoIs record.

As to whatever Alexa is/might be doing that issue needs to be addressed by Alexa. (Besides, who really cares about Alexa these days . . when there are so many other sources of traffic, etc.? :-/)

Could be a problem with your host. Both your site and the other website could belong to the same registrar or even live on the same server. Put a trouble ticket in with your host and see where it leads. If no answer there try your registrar, if none there, contact Alexa.
