Is this domain name worth anything?

I bought a 3 letter .us.com on a whim, I'm under no illusions that the TLD is rubbish, but is there a good chance I can sell it for more than I bought it for (£17)?

Sorry I edited it out, by sub domain do you mean like co.uk is a sub domain as well? Also where is the best place to try and sell it?

.co.uk is a subdomain of uk
ditto: org.uk, gov.uk, etc.etc

however they are sold by nominet, which is the official uk registry.
the name you mentioned is run by a private company in the same way that if i bought:

example.com i could sell/license/rent/lease/whatever names such as
example.example.com

? They list us.com as one of their domain extensions.

Oh I see, they bought these us.com, ru.com domains, then they just sell the subdomains off?

Yep, just be more careful next time and, by the way, I buy genuine example.us or example.com names for about £5.00 each.
