A domain sells for less than its regfee? There's a surprise. :) Seriously though, there does seem to be a bit of a realignment going on with .com and the ccTLDs becoming the new axis. The peripheral gTLDs are all readjusting to the post Domain Bubble reality.

I'd like to "follow the money" for the originally reported sale . .

I was never wholly convinced that the "reported sale price" ($200K as I recall) represented money that actually moved, in full, and stayed . . in "someone else's coffers" . .

But maybe it was just wild and wildly misguided speculation . . . :-/
