Hello,
Few month ago I heard that Magento will use Symfony2 framework...

Is it true and do you have any news about that, and a release date?

Thank you

At least some components. Symfony2 is not monolithic. Drupal 8 will depend heavily on it, but will not use the Symfony framework

I think Magento is already using the YAML component

But I guess you're asking if it will become a bigger part of Magento... not sure about that.
