I have a problem with https: The site, [
helptherapist.com ] - note it is an https site- has on the left panel of its home page links to partners. All but one of these links do not work. It seems to be that someplace Joomla is making the outgoing links be https even though in the module I've entered them as http.
This problem is not limited to this module. all outgoing links work the same way.
When the sites linked to are not ssl, errors are returned. The errors are 102, 107, 118 or warnings about redirects. One site does link successfully but has a red "x" through the padlock icon in the url box and a red line through the https.
My understanding: all links going from site are changed to https. The errors occur when the site linked to is not ssl. Either the way ssl is set up or a plugin is making that change.
Web host says site/server is properly set up. Other sites with Joomla set up the same way do not have this problem. The tech says something in my Joomla setup is forcing the https on all the outgoing links.
I've set force ssl = none. Joomla 1.5.23. Independent of browser and on both computers (W7 & XP) in our home.
I've tried disabling plugins and modules with no change.
