I wasn't sure if I should post here or in the analytics section. However, I think that it might be more relevant here.

I have a site on Joomla 1.5x. When I look at google analytics, I see some odd entries in the top hits instead of things like /index.php/page1.html.

The link under the page column looks like

/translate_c?hl=it&sl=en&u=http://www.MYSITE.com/yada/yada/icon_developer_free.htm&prev=/search?q=IconDeveloper&hl=it&client=firefox-

I am running the free SEO patch.

My site is US based and I don't think I'd be seeing a whole lot of spanish or french quebec users. I'm just curious if anyone can shed light on this.

thanks

chris

If you surf with Chrome, every time you come across a page that doesn't match your machine's language settings it asks if you want to translate it and I recall other discussions where people were seeing Google Translate urls in their logs (I think I have come to think of it).

Honestly, I forget what they look like, but have you checked the user's IP?
