CMS for Social Network Site for Rating purposes

hello all,
I am starting a new site similar to Facebook (social network site) but for a specific community, where users can post images and have their friends rate and comment on.

Which CMS should I use for this purpose? Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress ...

For now, I discoverd BuddyPress a division of WordPress but am not sure if it allows me to do exactly what I want.

Have you thought about just gong the easy way and creating a Ning community?

Joomla would work as well. There are extensions that allow you to have communities, ratings and comments.
