I'm a one person operation and have always used regular .html programming for my websites. I have about 50 cliens who are insurance agents for 1 particular insurance company. Most can sell the same products, services, etc. It's becoming overwhelming for me. Not only do I create new sites I'm also responsible for making changes. The problem? Each time a change is made to a product I have to make it on all websites. Extremely time consuming! I'm not sure what would work best for me? a content management software or server side includes? What I'd like to do is create many templates using the same content. My clients have no desire to manage their own website so that's why I questions CMS. Can anyone shed some light on what would work best for my situation? Thanks in advance!

Welcome to WebmasterWorld SARWebDev.

Depending on how you have your current sites setup it sounds like you might even be able to setup a Find & Replace routine to simply change all the pages across sites. Another option might be to store the content on a central file and then include that content on each site.

On the CMS side, I'd suggest taking a look over at the opensourceCMS site to see if there are any systems that you think would make your work easier.
