Fabrik Form not working in Joomla Site

I installed Fabrik to do forms on a Joomla site. I thought I had everything created properly.

However, when I click on the menu item to the form, it often comes up blank, or partial, or with most of the form. If I click on the IE error dialog at the bottom of the browser and then see the errors, I see stuff like

'null' is null or not a object

Object doesn't support this property or methcod

Parsing error, unable to modify the parent container element before the child element is closed (kb927917)

I'd appreciate any thought if someone is familiar with this offhand. I think I'm going to go back to the drawing board and look at other form tools. I'm trying to do this low budget so I would prefer free but if that doesn't work, something that isn't too expensive for multiple sites.

Thanks

cmendla,

We develop a lot of Joomla sites. I'm not familiar with Fabrik's products, but 99.9% of the time we have found the answers for problems with third party apps can be found within the publisher's forum. I noticed that Fabrik has an online forum, you may find your answer there.

Found the problem.

I found the problem. I had a third party gizmo in the side column. It was basically a gizmo that gave some related info. Nothing shady, just run of the mill stuff.

I was wondering what was different between the site where the fabric form was not working and the site where it was working. As soon as I disabled the gizmo, the fabrik contact form worked great.

Hope this helps. IOW, if fabric isn't working and you have third party widgets or gizmos on your pages, try disabling them and see if the forms work then
