Super administrator can not log in

I am using Joomla 1.5 building a school website. Today I am having a problem to login in admin area, when log in failed I got a message:
JAuthentication::__construct: Could not load authentication libraries. Username and password do not match.

I don't know if I turned off Authentication plugin by mistake or something else? all my work have done through there, and I did not sent another user, what can I do now? What other way can log in to administrator area?

Is there any geeks can help please!

I work in Joomla quite a lot but have not run into situation like this.
You may want to search on the forums at joomla.org—may get a quicker answer there.

Thank you so much ergophobe, I solved it! I thought Authentication plugin on/off button I may have changed, but yesterday I did go in to database, but just did not see the job_plugins table, may be I was panic could not see properly.
