Sorry about all the Joomla 1.5 posts. I am trying to get a quick handle on this and I'm noticing a lot of quirky stuff.

When I look at a site:www.mysite.com in google, I see entries titles like

TCPDF error: Missing or incorrect image file: images/stories ...

The link is the URL of a page and then ?format=pdf.

I have been messing around with the site quite a bit so there are probably a few things missing here and there.

Once again, the problem seems to be related to the PDF generator for Joomla. I'm going to disable that if I can just to be on the safe side while I try to get the site indexed.

If anyone is familiar with this type of listing in google, I'd appreciate your thoughts

thanks

Just checking... is this question rendered moot by what came out of the other one (where you removed the icons and are getting your PDFs out of the index)?

Not that I know the answer, but just curious if you're still curious. And if anyone has a clue.

Without knowing the details, it looks like the plugin wasn't working when the googlebot stopped by. What do you get if you go to that page?

Ergophobe - I think that removing the icons and adding the robots.txt exclusions will work. Right now, it appears that the listings are still there for a site: search.

What I see if I go to the page is simply

TCPDF error: Missing or incorrect image file: images/stories/ (I removed the site specific info)

I didn't get around to trying the removal tool in google. Things are a bit hectic right now.

So, for now, I'll let it go for a week or so and then check it out from there.

thanks again
