Hi there

Is Adobe Contribute CS4 similar to cms?
I'm trying to find the best way to do cms and still struggling to use different ones e.g. joomla, magento etc?

Any suggestions?
Many thanks in advance.

I don't know it and there' a thread I was trying to find but couldn't. I did find these threads:

My memory from looking into it and from an earlier thread that I can't find, is that Contribute has some noteworthy differences from a CMS. You should verify this as it's just from memory and I don't use Contribute.

- Contribute runs as a client on the desktop, which means that each person who has editor privileges on the site needs a not-too-cheap copy of Contribute on her computer. Most CMS would allow a near infinite number of user logins and allow editing via a web interface.

- You need a web developer to create template pages that define which parts of the site can and can't be edited by Contribute editors.

- I've read that you can integrate Contribute into the workflow on Wordpress, Drupal and others, so you could potentially get the best and worst of both worlds.

Have you tried the free trial download from Adobe?
