Hi all,

I new to the searching concept. Can any one help me how to search the pdf content from the web site directory. Since I tried MS index services. Created a catelog for my web directory. When I hit the search I received some amount of files. When I add or remove the files in to that directory, the result doesn't change. so how to handle this situation.

Thanks in advance

Welcome mahes!

Adobe has an official, but not especially, helpful answer to your question:
[kb.adobe.com...]

That has links to third-party tools and some comments on how to use MS Index Server to allow site visitors to search your PDFs.

It sounds like you've already figured that out, though, and have some additional specific problems that I couldn't quite understand from your question.

Perhaps the easiest way to handle it is to let Google, Yahoo! (can't recall if MS Live has a similar offering) or someone else handle it for you.

For example, if your needs are simple, you could just used Google Custom Search Engine. That allows minimal customization and runs ads in the search results. If you want a custom page, with tailored results and no ads, you could use Google Site Search for $100/year at the basic level.
