Just a quick little heads up. For the second time in maybe six months I've had an issue with a problematic RSS feed. In this case, the feed title was wrong (came throuhg as the post title for the current top post on the day you subscribed). In the previous case, the feed body was truncated. In that case, the same was true of the email "feed".

Both were quick fixes, but the recent one took me a bit to notice because it was okay when I first signed up for the feed and then I made some changes to the site. The feed got messed up, but the original title persisted in my RSS reader.

If you install a plugin or module or theme or whatever that might effect your RSS feed, it's probably a good idea to unsubscribe, clear any cache and resubscribe just to make sure it's okay.

"Eat your own dog food" is the ugly, but perhaps apposite expression (am I right in thinking Microsoft came up with that one?).

I'm a big believer in using the sites, tools and so on that you create for users. Of course, it's not always possible, but does give a level of insight (and involvement) that IMO is valuable.

And RSS feeds break easily ;)

I always subscribe to my own feeds, but this last one caught me unawares because it only affected new subscribers, so I didn't notice it for... who knows?
