For an upcoming project, I need a CMS with content versioning.
Which options are out there?

Yes, Drupal does let you do revisions of content pages. That could be considered a sort of a versioning system. What sort of versioning were you looking for?

I have Drupal in one website I don't update a lot, but I've not see the revisions functionality... where exactly is?

The kind of versioning is because I'm writing a set of basic tutorials about certain topic. Then I plan to re-write each one with more depth. So, I wanted a system that allows me to be working with two versions at the sime time while allowing me to publish only one.

When you edit content under the Publishing options there is a check box labeled 'Create new revision'. I haven't worked with it much, but it does make a new version of your page when you save.
