Hi All,
I need a good suggestion related to the document management system. i have a requirement of the document saving and then searching on the metadata and the text of the document.

Save:-
1. Which option should i choose to save the documents...file system or the BLOB type in the database itself. Both have some pros and cons but i am unable to find the best choice.

Search:-
I have a requirement of searching for a document on it's content and metadata(google like search), i went through the analysis of many search engines...Lucene and oracle text search engine..can anyobne suggest me about this also.
I have gone through the Lucene site and i haven't found sample code for searching of the documentsd saved in the database, the site always refer to the documents saved in the file system.
Do send me the detail if anyone has already done some analysis on the same....
