Hi everyone,
I would greatly appreciate any advice anyone has to offer regarding this:
I currently have a Typepad blog that I've used for three years now, I would like to move the site over to a content management system in order to make the blog more magazine like. So far of all the CMS systems I've checked out, I like Joomla the best. Does anyone know how I can move over all my posts/ blog content in to Joomla or any other CMS?

Thanks!
Terry

Many of the CMS packages have import scripts that will do this for you. You will need to check the site of the CMS in question though. TypePad is a fairly popular platform so you may be in luck.

You might be able to get a scripter from a programing site like elance to do it for you.

The structure of the Joomla content database is actually pretty simple and it should not take more than a day or two -- as long as you've got your section / category mapped out to your liking.

I think TypePad might provide access via an XMLRPC interface to simplify things.
