On site or off site?

I finally received some content for a major donation I did back in June. (talk about taking their sweet time)

Anyways, I would like to write an article or short blurb about it, but would like to know if its best to post this new content on my site (in support for a sub page), or should I send it off to some article bank. I got pictures to go with it and everything.

Suggestions?

...or should I send it off to some article bank.

Are you sure you have the authority to do that?

I share content pretty freely, but I don't give the other party the right to let others republish the material.

You could publish it on your own site and write a small related article about the content, then submit the small article to the article sites. Let other sites link to the original content on your site.

And while you are at it, just to be safe, run a few snippets of the content through Google to see if it's been publish ed somewhere else already.

If you are considering "sending it off to some article bank", it doesn't sound like it is very unique, valuable, or compelling content, does it?

Sponsor a child, get content?

Sorry, I'm having a bit of trouble getting my head around this one. It just seems bizarre... :)
