UK Copyright Violations

I thought i'd try and get some views from the UK members...

We've found a couple of sites this week, both UK based, have been copied by other companies and passed off as their own (design only, not content).

I realise that the first step is to send them a cease and decist letter, but is that still applicable in the UK? Does anyone know of a good template for a UK version of this letter (lots of searches have been fruitless).

And for everyone...

Do you take any steps to ensure people don't nick your designs, or so that you know if you do? The copies were found completely by accident, so i'm worried there are lots out there on the www.

You are correct, there is not a lot of info to go on. This appears to have some good discussion, copyright [benedict.com],
but is raise more questions than it answers.

if it was only design I would be happy we have a network of sites copying our content and even not bothed to cloak it!
