A couple of my clients want to be able to see their site's stats. These are not "advanced" computer users, so they just need something very basic and oh yeah, free too. I don't need a log analyzer. The best description I can give for what I need is that I remember WebTrendsLive used to have a free version, and you put it's code on every page of the site (so it tracks stats for the site as a whole, not just it's index.html page). It told you how many unique visits and pageviews a day, week, month, etc. and some basic but still okay referrer reports. Keywords, search engines, etc.
If it has a small logo or banner looking thing that you have to put on the site to make up for it being free, that's fine with them (gotta love that, lol). Just as long as it's free and has most, if not all, of the above features.
