I was wondering if anyone had experience with the available weblog parsing software on the market.

I anyone could recommend what they are using, this would be most appreciated.

If anyone has experience with any software packages with Tomcat, their experience would be even more appreciated.

Thanks for your posts in advance.

Zuko, what exactly is it you're looking for? I'm not experienced with Tomcat - are there special requirements for software to work with it?

Actually,
Tomcat uses an apache core, and can be configured to log just like apache.

So anything that would work with apache can work with Tomcat.

What I will be tracking is user hits, referral urls, ip addresses resolved to their host names if available, the path a user takes in the site, etc... All of this with reporting capabilities.

We have been looking at WebTrends, but I thought that this would be the place to find out some of the other (and preferred) weblog parsing software.

We are launching a new site soon and wanted to get this in place before hand so we can assess the traffic before and after the new site is in place.

Thanks in advance.
