Document file in use

Hi,

I hope someone can help me on this. I realise this isn't a 'Webtrends' forum but I assume that the majority of the people who post here have some experience in this tool and I can't find any answers in the official knowledge base.

I have web reports scheduled to run every week. Unfortunately, this week none run. They are queued with the message 'Document File in Use/Currently Open'
I can find no info on what document file is in use.

I rebooted the server that webtrends runs on, to free up any documents that may be tied up by a process, ran the scheduled reports again and got the same problem.

The reports are not running on logfiles directly from the webservers, but are running from copies made of the files to the saem server as Webtrends. These copies are made automatically every day and up to this point have been working fine. In fact I use the copies to generate data for my own custom reports.

So, does anyone have any ideas on what the problem might be?

Thanks,
Guy

hi guybroster,

this looks like that webtrends can't open the file. even the log says it's currently open/in use might be an indicator that the logfiles are not openable for webtrends. i would check if webtrends has enough rights to open these.

I can't see why this would be the case as there were never any problems previous to this and I have not changed the Webtrends user rights....which has admin rights on the server that holds the log files.
