hey guys, i've been looking into using an analyzer as i've read that it's the best way to get stats for my site.
I've looked at a few, including analog, and they're jut too complicated for me at the mo, i havnt a clue how to compile/install these kinds of analyzers.(i downloaded webalizer which said it was easy but i couldnt even understand the instructions, i don't know how to execute a file on my server!)
Is there anything that's dead easy to use, even if i could use it on my pc and download my log files.
cheers guys :)

have a look at FastStats. This was very easy to set up as a desktop application when i tried it a few years back, and has some good supporters here.

NetTracker worked great for me but its spendy. There's a free 15 day trial however. I found it a bit slow too, but very in depth.

like chiyo said, FastStats is really easy. i can only underline. it was my first desktop analyzer and it still does a good job.

yeah i had a look at faststats and it does look good, i came across another one, weblog expert, which is pretty much the same as faststats only they have a lite version which is free, which i'm going to use for the moment, when i need a more powerfull analysis i will definetly invest the &99 in faststats though, cheers guys :)
