I just noticed some odd lines in my logs. First there is a normal/regular request for a page on my site. Then a second request, for the same page but with a "&language=en" appended to it ("realpagename.html&language=en"). These 2nd requests always generate errors, of course.

The only constant so far is that the reported browser is "Mozilla/3.0 (compatible)" with no reference URL. The requests come from a variety of IP's and are rare (maybe a dozen in a day). I just noticed it today, appears to be fairly new.

FYI, the whole site is in English.

Any guesses?

This isn't something I've come across... any suggestions anyone?
