I'm still a little green at log analysis. A new site just got it's first, and only, hit from Inktomi, except for the Goo spider when I submitted it there about a month ago.

I expected to see a kewyord referral in this hit, since I get a referral keyword in the text string when other search engines send traffic.

Can anyone take a moment and tell me if this was a MSN search hit, or could it have been a warm body at Inktomi taking a look at my site by entering the site URL into their browser?

That is not a hit from Inktomi's spider. It's a visitor from the ntl.com [searchengineworld.com] ISP.

Thank you Key_Master.

And here I though I had found the needle in the haystack ... a long-awaited visit from Inktomi.
