I found this gem, written by Matti Tukiainen. Unfortunatelly there has not been any updates to this perl script since 2001-07-02.

Anyone know of a group who took over, or someone else who is updating it?

Unfortunately, I haven't had much time to develop the
script, but there have been numerous parser file updates
to keep Relax up-to-date.

The latest Engines.pm update (version 1.67) is just a
few days old and it makes Relax to recognize and extract
keywords being used in 455 search engines.

What kind of improvements would you like to see?

Thanks for the reply, and thank you for such a great script!

The only thing I would like to see is summary over time. In particular in keywords. Right now I run the script and it over-writes previous day's run data. I would like to keep a summary data and the new report. Historical report is important because I have access to only 24 hours worth of log (cheap hosting).

Is it possible that I am just misconfiguring it?

(I am also having a problem excluding my own domain, but that I am sure is my fault.)

Some sort of historical report feature has been on my todo list. In the mean time, you can probably define Relax to generate a single report from your set of daily log files. I know that this solution is far from optimal, because Relax is quite slow.

You can use

exclude_refs
to completely exclude a domain and
local_urls
to give a special treatment to referrers coming from your own domain.
