Hi there!

I am doing some SEM for a company and am currently reviewing their logs. Their host has some decent reporting tools available for free - I just have to learn how to work them :-)

The tool is LiveStats, and the specific question is how to add a new url to url watch?

I am wanting to watch Google adwords, so I am not sure of the url there, and also, LiveStats asks "url to forward to". Would this be so that at Google, I would enter the url of www.widgets.ca/?id=adword (my syntax may be a little off - I'm too lazy to look it up *grin*) - I have noticed that this url does not work when I arrive at widgets.ca - the pictures are missing! Would I get that url to forward to the actual page that I intend Google adwords clickers to see?

Thanks! let me know if I need to explain this better ;-)

click throu watches are complicated to set up and need to be precise, you need to set a "watch id" which would be part of the querty string you submit to google as your url ...

[domain...] name/ss?click&virtualserverid&watchid

you need to know the virtual server id and you need to set a watch id using the virtual admin area of livestatsarea

in the control panel the url to forward to would be your url. eg. www.widgets.ca

the livestats 5 guide is here...
