Protracker Software? Has anyone used it and is it worthwhile?

One of my colleagues has requested me the following:

Hawk , I need to assign a unique tracking is to each search engine for protracker to track my conversion rate. Is that possible?

Now I am not sure what protracker is? Does any one have any clues?

Also, my colleague wishes to have a website tracking tool on his site which can track upto 15,000 unique vistors a day. I have tried tools such as web-stat.com and for a higher limit, www.123count.com
with a limit of 10,000 unique visitors per day, however my we need something that can handle the 15,00+ limit. Can someone help?

Also, any good website stats tracking tools around?

Hi, this may be a bit late for this reply but this is the first time I've been to this forum on my journey to enlightenment.

I looking to find anyone with experience in different tracking tools and their opinions of them.

The ones I researched so far have been:

WebTrends
NetTracker
Urchin
and FunnelWeb

The prices of each vary greatly so you need to be sure just exactly do you want to acheive and whether or not it will provide a good ROI for you.
