How do I make my site show up in external tracking logs?

My site sends a lot of traffic to other sites, but doesn't show in logs

I recently found a couple of sites that I link out to that left Extreme tracking logs publicly available. So I decided to do a test.

My site was nowhere to be found in their logs, even though I had confirmation of a large volume of traffic being sent from my logs - I even clicked through a few times.

I tested the "recent referring sites" after immediately clicking through my site to the external site, then checked the external site's log. No referral shown.

I want these sites to see the large volume of traffic I am sending them - how do I get these URL's to show up?

If the clicks to the site do not show up in their reporting it sounds like they have a problem - and I do not see how you can do anything about it.

It's probably not real-time data. And you may also not send enough to show up in the Top 20, which is typically the default setting for most stats programs.

Just keep clicking and be patient. :)

Looking at my traffic logs, I should already be the #3 referring URL for the site in question, plus another site ignores my url as well-

Thanks for answering the post.
