Well, my fav logging site, freelogger, is down again. I guess I am going to have to switch to a pay site. Is webtrends the #1 site out now, or are there some better alternatives?

As "Power Phlogger", the script used on Freelogger, is free to download and use, there is a huge number of privately-run services offing exactly the same as Freelogger:
[google.com...]

Of course nothing can be said about the speed and availibilty of those sites.

What is your most important stat? Traffic numbers? Referrers and keywords? Or something else?

Sadmaster, you should move that URL to your profile... self-links are very much frowned-upon here, as I learned when a post in which I asked for similar feedback to a similar service of my own was deleted :)

Thanks for the tip. So, was FreeLogger any good?

I'm still checking PPHlogger out. I'm pretty impressed with it and was thinking of using it for pages I don't host. I am getting quite disillusioned with live stats, have checked out webtrends and am now getting to grips with urchin. I like their tracking module that forces a page view for cached pages. Analog is still a favourite :)
