I get an error that states that there are too many log entries that exceed the chronological order or something like that. Anyone ever had this? When I look at the html file that it produced it processed no logs after 7/22, and I have no idea why? Any ideas?

This happends often when changing log file formats. Have you done this or any changes to your logging options recently? WebTrends thinks you are using different servers, and wants to purchase a more expensive product.

WebTrends will (like most other software) fail now and then (just take a look at you Windows system :))

It sounds like you hit one of those bugs that can be very hard to identify. Personally, I have not experienced the same as you on the same conditions. I will suggest you contect WebTrends tech support as they are usually able to debug and find a solution for you.

I have had a similar error when I have included too many files or exceeded the max length. I usually do them in pieces and then save the fasttrends info and put it together with the last run.

ie. run the 1st - 10th, when complete edit the files remove the 1st - 10th and add the logs from the 11th - 21st. When you hit ok it asks to keep fasttrends info hit yes and then run it with a date range from the 1st - 21st, etc. When I am done it is all there.

not sure if that is your problem but it happens with a couple sites I have.
