Which reports did you download from UA?

Since UA went dark I actually haven't had cause to look back, our UA data runs from 2015 to 2023. Now there is a limited time remaining to get the data before it is lost, I am trying to get meaningful reports which may prove useful?

Downloading seems relatively pain free, I am dl to Excel.

Anyone have a view on what data will be useful?

I have got overall clicks from 2015 - 2023 and source / medium for the same time period..

I wonder about getting source / medium per year ..

What have you downloaded? what would you recommend?

Pull reports for the entire time & then break it out by year. Here are some report suggestions
- Top landing pages
- Top converting pages
- Top traffic sources
- Traffic by week (identify seasonal shifts & annual trends)
- Search result page (assuming the user search term is in the URL)

I'm not overly worried about keeping the UA data. The landscape changes so much each year especially now with AI coming onto the scene. Covid skewed user behavior. IMHO the old data has so many caveats that it is not a big loss.

Hi @goodroi thanks for your post, good ideas, I will try to find time this week to download a package of data. It is true though that old data isn't worth so great an amount when you consider all the factors that apply to it. For example we carried out many and various experiments over the years which affected our overall clicks but I can't recall which we did when etc :) .. Thanks again.

I managed to dedicate some time to downloading reports to excel and got quite a bit down.
Will have a further look next week for some more and then call it a day.

How can I receive and download GA data from universal analytics. The account is empty now. What is the solution?
