I was just looking at Google Analytics real time traffic from Chrome and saw what I expected. When I started visiting the website using Safari on a Mac is showed zero traffic. Is this normal. I tried it on several GA accounts and they all did it.

It is normal because Safari defaults to blocking third party or cross-site tracking. You can change that under Preferences > Privacy and you can see what cookies are being blocked. There is a shield shown with a vertical dark/light split on sites with such tracking used. You can click that shield to see what is blocked.
