Finding I can't get certain data sets out of GA that I used to rely on.
So, i try Custom Reports (always a good idea) and that isn't working, and Data Studio seems to be a complete cluster.
So can anyone offer a decent reference to a decent 101 tutorial on how to make this thing work?
Here's my immediate problem. No ability to scroll various controls, no ability to scroll vertically, no way to delete a single data column without starting all over (which is a nightmare in itself) etc etc.
All I want is an old school report that is Sessions / Uniques / Pageviews / Time on Site by date.
Is that too much to ask?
I remember I had a way to cobble this together in the past - but apparently someone either forgot this - or they decided it didn't need to be part of the layout or reporting functions.
I'd post a screenshot but apparently the admins seem to have left the ability to attach graphics out of the feature set here...
Waaa - waaa - waaaaa...
What a mess. In the early days, I used to greatly enjoy working with Analytics and today, I find it a sad imposter for the real thing - and Data Studio doesn't seem to help here either.
