I've been testing Microsoft Clarity [webmasterworld.com] for a while now and it's proving to be an incredibly valuable tool.

I'm discovering errors that I didn't spot, and pages that are what really are the "go-to" pages I hadn't expected. Importantly, i'm also finding the exit pages which may not have given the visitor what they wanted.

As a result, i've made changes that have retained visitors for longer, and importantly, i've generated more enquiries from hard won referrers.

I have just tested Microsoft Clarity, (just adding the code, without linking to Google Analytics).

What an excellent tool!

The dead clicks feedback makes me feel like sitting beside the user watching their use of my site.

In just 30 mins I have found 2 valuable things I can do to improve my site.

The tool is really great, it gives great results if you use it in parallel with Google Analytics...

Is it wise to use both on same site at same time ?

It's a user experience analytics, which is different from GA. It's designed to be privacy focused and to have very little impact on site loads.

Yes, it's not meant to be GA at all.
Use it an learn a lot more about your site.

I'm actually liking Clarity better than GA after a few days trial; at some point the new version of GA forgot about the user experience and really streamlined / buried information. The real-time reporting also suffers (the 30min delay isn't very useful). Clarity brings it all back to the forefront.
