GA - Comparing Days Year-Over-Year

I like to compare my daily stats year over year so that Mondays are compared to Mondays etc.
The way I do this now is by manually setting the compare dates with a one-day offset to align the days, so that 05/12/2021 - 05/19/2021 compares to 05/13/2020 - 05/20/2020.
Is there a way to do that automatically in Google Analytics?
Ideally, I would like to set this up in a saved report (last 30 days).

Thanks,
DIrk

I just figured this out. When you select the date, above the fields to enter the date manually there is a pull down where you can select Today, Yesterday, Last week etc... there is the same for compare. Selecting "Today" and "Previous Year" gives you the today compared to same day last year.

See the screen cap:

You should then be able to save the report and when accessing it again it should update. But I haven't tested this and I suspect that it may not work because it is using the actual dates in the query parameters.

Oh and I just realized it gives you the same "Date" last year and does not correct for day of the week. Which I think is the whole point of the post.
