Using WebTrends to process monthly logs.

Need specific instructions on how to do this, please.

This should be easy for someone to answer because I have to be doing something wrong. Here's the situation:

My logs are separate monthly files. Each month I'd like to select the new log file and run reports. That's it, easy right? But, when I try to do this the only place to change to the new file seems to be under Edit Profile, so I change it there and rerun the reports, but WT just keeps using the same file regardless.

So, how do I get WT to switch to the new log file? It works if I create a new profile each time, but I shouldn't have to do that right?

Can anyone help on this one? I tried again last night and it still won't really do what I would like it to.

When you're editing the profile, it lets you select the log file (browse for it on your hard drive). You just have to make sure you're selecting the latest month's log.

Then run the report.
