I have recently installed clicky to compare it to google analytics data. Can anyone shed any light on the fact that the bounce rate showing in clicky is approximately 50% less than the bounce rate on google analytics?

Do you have installed on the exact same set of pages and exact same protocol (http / https) and sub-domain (www, non-www, etc)?
They probably filter bad bots out differently.
Clicky's Bounce Rate is also calculated differently than other services... [clicky.com...]
