I have an external link that I have set up click tracking for via GA events.

What I want to know is how much impact users clicking on that link has on them reaching a goal.

How can I do this? Ideally I want something like x% of users who do not click that link reach the goal, vs y% who click the link.

Thanks for any help.

You should be able to analyze your Click Event and your Target Goal using Flow Visualization Reporting in Analytics.

Details here: [support.google.com...]
And here: [support.google.com...]

To go a tiny step further, you can use your click Event to create a Goal, call it your Link Click Goal.
Then you'd have your Link Click Goal and your Target Goal (like Conversion you mentioned), that can also be viewed in flow and funnel reports.

Thanks, Rhinofish, I think I have got it now. I was looking at the wrong flow reports and had not had things set up quite right.
