GA - Data bifurcation

Hi, I have always tried to analyse the GA data with a different approach but could not find a solution.

Need help from experts here, how can I get a report of my returning users (from different channels). The first time session should have been the "Paid" but then after came through different channels.

You can slice returning, and you can slice paid, and you can slice multiple sessions, all via segments... but I'm not sure you can combine two like you asked about.

If you mark the paid arrivals beforehand (like create an event that fires only if it is their first visit and the medium is cpc), you could slice those who have completed this event to observe the returning visitors only.

I typically use the Conversions / Multi-Channel Funnels / Top Conversion Paths report to examine the nature of "PPC then Return" traffic, but the data here is not very exhaustive.
