Log analysis tool

What is the best log analysis tool on the web?

I am responsible for a couple of web sites using different technologies such as content management tools, asp pages but also plain html. What I'd like to be able to do is to download the log files from the web server and run the analysis with a desktop tool. A feature translating page IDs into real names would be nice too. And the possibility of grouping pages within the same subject area. And of course navigation analysis and campaign analysis.

So, am I too demanding? What's your advice?

Webtrend's products seems to have always been a favorite.

I haven't experimented with most of their features but I've been happy with the information I got from their products. My tendency is to write my own small applications b/c I'm a dork and I like to do that.

santaclaus, do you have any pricing info about webtrends? I have only used it when delivered by providers yet and wasn't convinced, but then it probably has lots to do with configuration.

Hannu, I did look at the previous threads (thanks anyway), but could find no answer to my questions. Basically, the one you link to is just a long list of tools with no details and no answer, which one is preferred.
